10 things on my notice board

You can tell a lot about a person from what they pin on their notice board. At least that is true for me.

1. A 6 year old grass rose made and dipped into a hot spring for me by a lady at a Maori village in New Zealand when I was 8.

2. A ticket to see Much Ado about Nothing at the Minack theatre last summer.

3. Various doodles of Pride and Prejudice characters and Despondent guys >>

4. A photo of a friend and I on a one day surfing course for my 12th birthday.

5. A card that says "Be HAPPY it drives people CRAZY".

6. A letter for a course with Birmingham Royal Ballet.

7. Tickets to Harry Potter world.

8. A cross given to me by my grandparents for my confirmation.

9. A list of names of people who contributed to stopping elephant poaching.

10. A big A4 photo of my family from about 4 years ago.

10 random bits of my life this fortnight

Hi. Well. I am not going to be like one of those people who are all like "Oh my gosh, I am so so sorry I haven't posted, I feel awful, but I have just been so so busy, excuse, excuse....", because that just gets boring after a while. Actually I am very guilty of doing that when I forgot to post everyday in advent for Christmas 2015. But whatever. I am just going to say that I actually have nothing interesting to post except some random thoughts/reviews/life stuff that I have scribbled down or thought of over the past few days, with some equally mundane pictures. So I made it into a 10 things post. Congratulations in advance if you manage to read this all word for word.


1. I watched the ballet A Winters Tale a few days ago. Christopher Weeldon's choreography is always interesting and I love the whole classical feeling in Act 2, but not classical if you get what I mean. More contemporary with flexed feet in random places. Very technical terminology that!
Plus Edward Watson and Lauren Cuthbertson dance amazingly together, they create such feeling.

2. We were walking the other day when, surprise! We found a dead log that someone had painted....

3. Thoughts about - Cheerleader by Pentatonix

1. I never really liked the original of this song by OMI but with Pentatonix's fresh new take I love it!

2. The setting for the music video is awesome with just the right sort of vibe for the band and the song - Fresh, cute, funky taken old school.

3. Oh and one last thing I just HAVE to say: Kevin is literally a one-man band, I swear.

4. I have posted pictures of this coffee shop before at Christmas and again here so I am giving it it's very own label the hot chocolate shop!

6.  I took this when I was out with Jess and she was like so embarrassed I was taking pictures of rooftops, like "I don't know this person"!! *Sorry Jess*!!

 

7. Thanks to Duolingo I can now say in French - I am a snake! Hmm can't think of any situation where I would need to say that? Unless I was like an evil villain, mwah ha ha I am sneaky, I am a snake, Je suis un serpent!! Please do not analyse my stupid train of thought....

10 random things that I thought today!!

1. Why are sheep soooooo fluffy and we are not?! I mean it's not fair!!

2. Why your stomach rumbles when everything is quite?! I mean why?!

3. How come trees can't speak?!

4. Why does your phone always die when you NEED to use it?!

5. How come bus doors always close on your rucksack?!

6. When you cut worms in half (not saying that I do!) why do you still have 2 alive worms?! I mean if you cut us in half we do not duplicate, so why do they?!

7. How come we don't have tails?! Why I thought that, I don't know!!

8. Why are people sooooo accessed with tractors?! (Not like I have a problem with them or anything!!)

9. Do clouds go grey when they are unhappy?!

10.  How come it takes so long to do 10 things?!

So I hope that you enjoyed that, it was surprisingly fun to write!! And now I know how weird I am!! But I know that you guys already knew!!! But for now,

Goosebumps, that diner#3 and cupcakes

So I spent the day today mostly in the company of Jess, you know, the 10 things gal' from Fairydancer8. First we went to see Goosebumps at the local cinema, it was kinda creepy at some parts, but overall it was just insanely hilarious. Here are some of my thoughts about it:

1. There were far too many lil' kids there and far too many zombies.

2. If you have to fall off the sofa in the middle of the movie, please do it quietly?!

3. A magic typewriter....you're kidding me?

4. There’s a killer poodle, need I say more....

5. Champ, oh Champ, basically he is totally awesome, in scaredy cat/sidekick/says such stupid things

6. Hannah, Zach and Champ make an awesome trio. Think Luke, Leia and Han.... or maybe not like that actually....Think 3 teenagers fighting monsters, being all cool and making sarcastic comments along the way....or at least 2 of them were being funny on purpose!

We went to the diner after that, which obviously meant pictures! This diner has featured in two of my posts already, here and here, so I decided not to take any pictures of the wall posters this time.

We talked about a new feature so I will be revealing that pretty soon. *Oooo so exciting*!

We went back to her house and made cupcakes, and I figured it would be rude not to post some pictures of them. Some things we found out whilst making them.

 

1. Things always take longer in the oven when you stand and watch them

 

2. I am rubbish at icing

 

3. Jess will constantly remind me that I am rubbish at icing

10 things to talk about on a sleepover....

....and I have Molly to help me with this one! Just thought I would mention that....hey?!
These aren't the normal things to talk about either....

1. The over-priced-ness of shoes in general

2. The best non-gloopy nail varnish brand
    What a stimulating conversation that was....!!

3. What exams you need to take to be a panda keeper....
    Apart from biology we are not entirely sure.

4. Insoles, how long they take to be made, shoe types, sizes....blahblah

5. The best noise for an alarm clock
    Basically not have an alarm clock in the first place.

6. Whether watching Star Wars is an essential part of growing up or not
    You know what side I'm on for that argument!!

7. The best Web Cam Toy filters
    Citrus is pretty cool but then so is comic strip!!

8. Who the best judge on the Voice is?

9. What kind of fingers you need to play the guitar....??

10. Do mushrooms need more respect??
   This was my 8 year old cousins choice of subject, not me!!

So I am counting this within my "things to do on everyday of half term idea things" cause I don't have anything else to write for today that would be of any interest whatsoever to an outsider....sorry.

7. The life of pi! No words for that movie!

8. 50 first dates, tears were in my eyes!

9. Wallie, my childhood favourite!

10. Maze runner, just amazing!

Not in order but if you don't know what I'm talking about because you have never seen those movies then you MUST go and watch them now because you have many things to learn and when you have finally watched them, read this again and then you will get why they are on my top 10 but until you have watch them, I do not know you!! But for now Farewell!

10 weird things I wrote in my blogging ideas pad

1. Umm.... - what a waste of paper.

2. Juice box - WOW. My imagination is beyond even my own understanding sometimes.

3. Kylo-Ren - completely understandable.

4. Liar Liar - maybe I was angry? Or I could have been listening to that Avicii song.

5. Under the sea - who knows?

6. a-door-a-bull/adorable - hahahaha I'm sooo funny.... NOT??!!

7. Grape scented pencils - Ok hear me out on this! I was writing with my new Smiggle stuff.

8. Some day my prince will come - Can everyone please go aww.... Actually I had been watching Cinderella but whatever....

10. It was a fairy tale ending.... - continuing the Cinderella theme.

So there you have it? I'm not really sure what goes on in my head, but it provides entertainment! x

10 utterly random things....

So, hmmm, 10 things, harder then it sounds! I think I will just do random thoughts and such, OK, deep breath, plunge straight in, here goes....

1. If I was the 8th dwarf my name would probably be clumsy, sleepy#2 or random or even maybe ihaveabsolutelynoideawhatiamdoingherethisisafairytaleforgoodnesssake........
  What would your "8thdwarf" name be?

2. There is no other name for a camel but Ermentrude. I mean isn't that just great!!

3. A baby echidna is called a puggle! Search up pictures - they are absolutely adorable!

4. My voice must be really hard to understand or I mumble or something because the other day I was watching Narnia, Prince Caspian with a friend and I said "he's creepy" about Caspian's uncle and she thought I said "he has a great beard"!! I obviously did NOT say that, but it was weird anyway!!

5. Surely Cinderella could have picked up her shoe before the prince caught her up??

6. My movie and TV taste is really weird....some of my favourite things to watch are:The Voice (Ok this one is obvious), The Next Step, Breakfast at Tiffanys (Probably not expected!) Thunderbirds (Umm yh....so what?!), full length ballets, We bought a zoo (this is one of my favourite movies of all time and I could probably recite parts to you!!)....the list continues, long into the night....

7. Never wear sheer, green no less, tights on a rainy day. It is a very stupid idea....

8. It is much easier to persuade yourself to go for a run if it is sunny and you will ALWAYS I mean ALWAYS feel better for pulling your self off the sofa afterwards!

9. You probably shouldn't sing a remix of Kaiser Chiefs album Education, Education, Education, War to yourself whilst walking down your road as passing strangers will think you are just a bit weird??!!

10. And finally.... wait no I've run outta things to say, apart from this one thing - I would rather be at Hogwarts....

Fairydancer8: 10 things!: Hey, so I've decided that flower power has not been working out so from now on I will be starting a new series called 10 things!! So ten things that I've done this week or ten things that people have said to me this week etc, BUT there is a twist, communally me and another blogger (called 'The Stylish Purple Elephant') have decided to post each other's 10 things on each other's blogs so not only will you see mine BUT you can have the pleasure of reading the other bloggers 10 things as well!! So here you are , the first  ever 10 things ( on my blog any way!) :

10 THINGS THAT I WOULD BANISH (if I could!) :

-Homework, I mean if you wouldn't then your strange or love homework which is also strange!

-GCSEs, ALL OF THAT STUDYING!

-Queuing, I spent a 1 hour queuing for shoes! WHY?!

-Odd socks, I mean WHY OH WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT!!

-Rubix cubes, how can anyone do them?!

-Flip flops, I can never walk in them and if I try I fall over!

-Shoe laces, one bow is always bigger than the other and when you try to sort it out you just end up undoing it!

-The rain, I know it sounds stupid but with out the rain it would be sunny! (For once!)

-Mondays because on Sunday you are always upset because you know that the next day is Monday which either means work or school!

-Lasagne, you might love it but I HATE IT!
